Ecumenical Campus Ministries Association is dedicated to moving the next generation forward in faith and community. We fulfill this mission by:
For over 90 years, the Ecumenical Campus Ministries Association (ECMA) has served as a vital cornerstone for university students, providing a dedicated “home away from home” for a generation seeking community and belonging in a deeply challenging landscape. Today’s students face an evolving crisis, navigating the profound isolation of a post-pandemic world alongside widespread spiritual uncertainty and mental health struggles. In response, ECMA acts as a trauma-informed sanctuary. We meet students exactly where they are, offering a secure harbor through essential resources, food security, and healing mentorship that fosters personal growth and a true sense of safety.
Building on nearly a century of local ministry, ECMA is expanding its mission to educate, equip, and empower other campus and community leaders to replicate this impactful work. This collegiate generation represents our future leaders, yet many carry heavy wounds that traditional institutions struggle to reach. By sharing our specialized expertise, operational strategies, and proven blueprints for trauma-informed spiritual care, ECMA serves as a bridge to train leaders everywhere. We provide the practical tools necessary to build inclusive, supportive student environments that meet the next generation with compassion, dignity, and the specialized support they truly need.
